To apply for food stamp benefits in Alaska, you can fill out an online application through the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services website or you can download a paper application from the website and mail it in or submit it in person to your local office.

  1. Go to the Alaska DHSS website and click on “Apply for Benefits” under the “MyAlaska” tab.
  2. Create a MyAlaska account or log in to your existing account.
  3. Follow the prompts to provide your personal and household information.
