A) Yes, you can check the balance of your SNAP EBT account online, depending on your state. Many states offer online account management tools that allow you to check your balance, transaction history, and other information related to your SNAP benefits. Here are the steps to check your balance online:
- Go to the website for your state’s SNAP EBT program. You can find a list of state-specific websites on the USDA’s SNAP EBT website.
- Look for a section on the website that allows you to check your account balance. This section may be labeled “EBT Cardholders,” “My Account,” or something similar.
- Enter your EBT card number and PIN to log into your account.
- Once you are logged in, you should be able to see your current account balance, as well as recent transactions and other account information.
If your state does not offer online account management tools, you can also check your balance by calling the customer service number on the back of your EBT card.
