To sign up for food stamps online in Indiana, you can visit the FSSA Benefits Portal and file your application online. If you don’t already have an account, create one.
Here are the steps to apply for food stamps online in Indiana:
Go to the FSSA Benefits Portal website.
Click on the “Apply for Benefits” button.
Select “SNAP/Food Assistance” from the list of benefits.
Click on the “Start Application” button.
Create an account or log in if you already have an account.
Complete the application form.
Submit your application.
You can also apply for food stamps in person at a local DFR office. To find a DFR office near you, visit the FSSA website and click on the “Find My Local DFR Office” link.
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a letter from the FSSA with your application status. If your application is approved, you will receive your EBT card in the mail. You can use your EBT card to purchase food at authorized retailers.
