Tell Us Your Experience At Your Local Food Stamp Office

Similar to the previous comment, I too have been out on the back burner for our food stamps. My career has been put on hold due to Covid19 & I have no finances currently. I was told verbatim by a woman agent at the local wasilla office “we will fast track your SNAP benefits due to your emergent situation” & here I am, a calendar week later, 100% broke with no food, waiting for a return phone call from the multiple voicemails I’ve left them that started civil & optimistic. I bet it’s nice having a cushy little desk job, working from home that the state/government pays you salary to do the simplest of tasks & still decide not to do your job. Enjoy your fridge full of Avian, lobster & fresh organic produce,etc. SMDH.
