Tell Us Your Experience At Your Local Food Stamp Office

My father received an approval letter for Food Stamps and was asked to go to his local office to get ebt card. The lady that sent him the letter told him he was never approved and that how did he even receive that letter. It literally had her name on the letter! It said he was approved in May and still no card or $$… My question is did she keep his $$? I looked up his account online and it says his account for food assistance is closed but for Medicaid it’s pending… Like how is this even possible!! I say they scamming innocent people! Please keep in mind this is the first time ever that my parents have asked for any help and only because my father suffered a heart attack.
