I have a question. I am divorced with 3 children. The mother and I have made an agreement that no one pays child support. Every other year her and I use the kids on our taxes. They live with her. My question is that,
would I be eligible to receive snap benefits just for myself?
I am having problems making ends meet since the divorce and to be honest with you, my ex is really making things harder for me. I am jobless and recently lost my home. Not quite homeless but please I need help. I need snap and Medicaid. I one point I was told I was unable to receive food stamp. Due to my ex. Enlighten please. I really have a hard time with all the paperwork, and everything is just really overwhelming for me. I want to have assistance from a family member to fill out paperwork for me. What do I need to do to make that allowable?
