I lost my EBT card,how do I get a new one?

A) If you lost your EBT card, you should contact your state’s EBT customer service hotline immediately to report the lost or stolen card and request a replacement. You can typically find the phone number for your state’s EBT customer service hotline on the back of your EBT card, on your state’s EBT website, or by calling the national EBT customer service hotline at 1-888-997-9444.

When you call, be prepared to provide your name, date of birth, Social Security number, and any other requested information to verify your identity. Once your identity is confirmed, the customer service representative will be able to cancel your lost or stolen card and issue a replacement. You may also have the option to request expedited delivery of your new card for an additional fee.

Usually you should be able to Call your local EBT customer service office – visit your state benefits website for their number. Report your lost or stolen card, make your request for a new card. A replacement fee may be deducted form your benefits.
