My husband has a current diasbility claim for ssi in which im sure you know is a long process. It has been 2 yrs now. He is not able to work. The govt approves him having a disability plaque for the car to park in handicap spot. Now, if he cant walk to a store, he obviously cannot work. I have provided dr letters stating he cant work to you. We are a family of 3 but i make too much money according to you to get snap. One office told me if i provide a dr letter my income limits would go up to 3000 in which i would be approved. I had an apt today and she advised me he needs to be on disability through social security, when the gentlman on the phone told me just need a drs note. Well when he gets that we obviously wont need the help right. Why do you go by gross? I sure dont live by gross! And when was the last time you guys looked at the price of living in colorado because i am sure we will have to move out of state to survive. Then my husband will no longer see his kids from another marriage. There must be some way to fix this issue.
